Baxter Plastics was established in the early 1970s and has been a major influence in plastic technology and fabrications in Australia. Baxter Plastics offers a team of engineers, with all fabrications to the highest industry standards, including Australian and British Standards.

Baxter Plastics were pioneers of straight thermoplastic and dual laminate storage systems, together with process equipment onto the Australian market. By selecting the most suitable in a range of new engineering thermoplastics - PVC, UPVC, LDPE, HDPE, POLYPROPYLENE, PVDF, ECTFE, FEP, PFA or TEFLON,- it is possible to utilise the advantages of corrosion resistance, purity, low maintenance and predictable strength found in these materials to design vessels offering greater levels of performance for a diverse range of industrial applications. This has become increasingly important as legislation is now requiring that the best possible storage systems be utilized for the storage of hazardous chemicals.

Baxter Plastics has recently released a new range of Bulk Chemical Storage Units that incorporate both Chemical Storage and Bunding, in line with all regulatory requirements, and also include a Gas Scrubbing Unit to neutralize toxic gases at the point of venting. The unit can also be equipped with shrouding to prevent the unnecessary need to drain the bund after rain. These Mini Bulk storage units are available from quite small volumes up to approximately 30,000L. Each unit is designed to the relevant Australian Standard, specifically dependant on the class of chemical to be stored.

Baxter Plastics offers dual laminate GRP technology which combines the outstanding strength of GRP together with the high chemical resistance of a thermoplastics inner shell. Design is not limited to available moulds or mandrels and as such, custom sizes and shapes can be produced to suit the requirements of your application precisely. Manufacture of these types of vessels can be that of small volumes, up to in excess of 200,000 litres.

Baxter Plastics also offers a complete engineering and design service with on site Project Management to their customers and Baxter Plastics has substantial experience in case history's over many applications. Their standard product range includes - chemical storage, gas scrubbers, salt saturators and CO2 degassing columns. Plastics also have a lot to offer in terms of purity. Contamination is now being measured in parts per billion as a matter of course.
